• Assist the Project Manager to identify and assess risk arising from the workplace. • Site safety inspection and enforce compliance on prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations. • Conduct Safety Committee meetings, organize safety events, etc. • Supervise and attend to all issues related to workplace safety, health and environmental control. • Organize HSE promotion and health campaigns, training courses• Ensure all documentation/permits/licenses related to work place safety, health and environmental control required by authorities and management are kept in order• Initiate preventive and corrective measures to eliminate non-compliance or violation of safety requirement.• Record and report all accidents in the workplace and recommend preventive measures for recurrence.• Lead and assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence that occurs.
