I was assigned as an intern in the Abul Khair Steel Products Limited (a sister concern of Abul Khair Group). This single industry complex with a production capacity of over 750000 MTPA, produces the highest amount of corrugated steel called Goru Marka Dhew Tin’ and also Colour Coated Steel & ‘Zinkalum’. • Worked under the supervision of senior engineers in 6HI Cold Rolling Mill • Assist in filing spreadsheets for regular Preventive maintenance of the various systems• Assist in Predictive shutdown for efficient operations• Developed communication and teamwork skills through working alongside employees with different economic backgrounds• Expected to work in a safe manner following established operating procedures and practicesThis was an invaluable experience which has matured me in a significant way, both personally and professionally.
