Main Areas of Responsibility:• Responsible to have basic knowledge of Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), VET Quality framework, ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018, Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations 2015 and amendments made in 2017, Work, Health Safety (WH&S), Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, Vocational Education and Training Act 2005, Privacy Act, Personal Information Protection Act 1998, Affirmative Action (Equal Employment Opportunity for Women) Act 1999, Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 etc.• Technically capable with knowledge of learning management systems, Moodle• Responsible to maintain and update vocational and industry currency on an on-going basis.• Responsible to attend all School level meetings (this includes validation and moderation meeting).• In coordination with the School Academic Manager is responsible to provide, maintain and update documents required by the school for trainer/assessor personal folder.• Responsible for completing Trainer Matrix (ASQA format and a detailed level format provided by the school).• Responsible for completing Professional Development template provided by the school.• Ensuring the students’ progress through out in their course with sound understanding of the concepts• Maintain accurate student/course records and complete all required reporting.• Make sure that all student assessment records are always left in the school premises.• Make sure that all student assessments are assessed according to principles of assessment and rules of evidence.• Follow School procedure regarding assessment due dates before progressing to other activities.• Use creative methods to customize session plans based on School academic timetable.• Responsible for providing detailed feedback to students before assessment decision.• Need to be confidential and always maintain information regarding individual student assessment decisions.
