Advansys ESC provides engineering services for different clients such as Dematic, a global provider of a comprehensive range of materials handling solutions.Since I joined Advansys I worked with Dematic and played different roles in a lot of international projects such as system design engineer, commissioning engineer, R&D engineer, area lead and consultation. I also have experience training, coaching, supervising and leading teams.Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Area owner/lead of Amazon and Non-Amazon automated warehouses:• Leading and supervising creation of different types of installation drawings for proper communication with installation team.• Mechanical commissioning on site:• Supported Controls department by performing control commissioning on site of ASRS shuttle system including running low volume tests and acceptance tests. • Provided training, technical support and consultation for different project teams. • Worked in Mechanical Design projects and supported R&D.List of projects include but not limited to:• Amazon ZAZ1, MAD7, BGY1, CGN1 as area owner/lead. • Amazon HLA6, SVQ1, MXP6, CDG7, WRO5, LCY2, FCO1, etc. for different tasks including BOMs checking, installation drawings, etc. • El Corte Ingles (Spain), ASOS (Germany), and more – Design for different special parts/assemblies. • Zabka Poland, led detailed engineering, order entry and installation drawings team for different areas. • Landmark Omega DC, Dubai – Mechanical commissioning lead of biggest automated warehouse in Middle East. Worked on site and aligning with engineering office in Germany.

Worked for the Research and Development sector of the world's largest crystal producer as a mechanical design engineer (Intern). The R&D sector was meant to develop the machines to be automated, and build new machines starting from conceptual design, mechanical design to manufacturing and testing.• Attending Innovation Sessions with other teams to creatively solve problems and come up with ideas for new projects, developments and improvements.• Design mechanical components and select standard parts all per applied loads.• Create CAD models for individual parts, their assemblies, machines and layouts of production lines.• Worked with Mechatronics team to build models for control panels and actuators.• Meeting with manufacturing team for design optimization, design for machinability.• Search for suppliers for mechanical parts, standard parts, etc.• Meeting with professors and consultants to discuss complex technical problems.• Worked in Reverse-Engineering projects.• Participated in writing two machines' manuals by preparing Exploded Views for the 2 machines according to their assembly level.• Worked with Configuration-Management team to deliver some documents such as Parts List, Breakdown Structure and Assembly Sequence.• Was asked to train colleagues on new tools in Unigraphics/Siemens NX.
