MOHAMMAD SHAHBAKHTI completed his B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Islamic Azad University of Dezul, in 2012. From 2014 to 2018, he served as the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Mehr Private Hospital, Ahwaz, Iran. He obtained his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Biomedical Engineering Institute at Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, where his research focused on neural signal processing with a particular emphasis on wearable technologies. Since 2022, he has been a researcher at Artinis Medical Systems B.V., conducting research on estimating physiological parameters from wearable fNIRS devices.
