Working on a new type of slurry mixer. Carrying out and analysing an array of mixing processes, characterising the differences to current production methods, suggesting and implementing improvements in slurry processing and formulation, culminating in using the trial mixer to carry out production runs, and producing an analysis and recommendation around the purchase of this mixer type.

Worked in the chemical engineering lab at the University of Strathclyde under the supervision of experienced researchers and PhD students. My research was on the curdling of soymilk and coffee mixture. I examined the effects of change in temperature, pH and soymilk concentration on the soymilk-coffee mixture. I also examined the size of the curdled soymilk particles using Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA).Faced several challenges while setting up the equipment, but I was able to find creative solutions using my excellent problem-solving skills.Attended development sessions to improve project management and research skills. At the end of my internship, I presented a poster presentation on my project.

I worked on a python programme which predicted the composition of end-products of pyrolysis of different types of biomass. My role was to check if the programme was giving accurate results. I achieved this by comparing the predicted results with results obtained from experimental studies.
