As a dedicated accounting student pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce Honors in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting at the University of Windsor, I am committed to building a career rooted in precision and financial excellence.My journey in the financial sector began as a Non-Resident Audit Intern at the Canada Revenue Agency. In this role, I conducted audits, analyzed financial records, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations. I am proficient in using Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, financial reporting, and presentations. This experience has solidified my commitment to a future in accounting, where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.Building on this foundation, I further honed my skills during a co-op work term at MNP, where I performed compilations and prepared tax returns. This experience broadened my understanding of accounting practices and enhanced my ability to deliver precise and thorough financial analyses.In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I have also dedicated myself to serving in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Information Operator at HMCS HUNTER. Here, I've honed qualities such as effective communication, organization, and problem-solving. I've contributed to team efficiency and safety at sea through tasks such as managing logistics, plotting naval contacts, and executing strategic decisions.My goal is to continue combining my accounting skills with my military-honed qualities to excel in the accounting profession, working toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
