As a seasoned professional with over 20 years expertise in Investor Relations, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Communications, I play a pivotal role in insuring that Zain Group and all its operations and subsidiaries are well positioned to be at par with leading international Telcos and TechCos. In Investor Relations, I lead the development and communication of our equity story across Kuwait and regional markets, fostering relationships with sell-side and buy-side stakeholders, managing consensus, and engaging with industry analysts to ensure optimal share price valuation and diversification of our shareholder base. As a founding team member of the first Investor Relations department in Kuwait, the Gulf, and the region, established in 2003, I’ve also been a member of NIRI since 2004, Chairman of the MEIRA Kuwait chapter since its establishment in 2012, and a board member of MEIRA since 2017.In Corporate Governance, I am responsible for creating and implementing Zain Group’s governance framework, ensuring strict compliance with regulations set by Kuwait’s MOCI, CMA and Boursa Kuwait through the establishment of comprehensive policies and Board committee charters. I also oversee that all other listed entities under the Zain Group umbrella across the region abide by local rules and regulations, that has placed Zain Group among the highest levels of ESG regional rankings. In Corporate Communications, I spearhead the development of the Group’s communications strategy, driving corporate reputation management, crisis communication, media buying and stakeholder engagement across media channels, while elevating our brand value (currently valued at US$3 bn) and enhancing both internal and external communications.My goal is to promote transparency, protect the rights of stakeholders, and maintain accountability across the company's operations. I also ensure that ESG principles are integrated into the company's governance framework, promoting sustainable, ethical, and transparent business practices.
