Software Quality EngineerInfosys Dec 2021 - PresentBhubaneswar, Odisha, India• Involved in validating the data migrated from Source- Teradata to the Cloud i.e., Snowflake for various Tables, Procedures & Views using Automation Script in PyCharm.• Various testing activities that I have performed on the migrated data of Tables/ Views are mentioned below: o Made sure that complete data from Teradata is migrated to Snowflake without any fallouts or as per any filter conditions if mentioned. o Made sure that Quality of the data is not lost which was done by Attribute to Attribute checks along with Aggregate validations on the entire data. o Procedures: Multiple tables involved in each Proc were validated by making sure of the job completion before proceeding with next steps & reporting to DEV for any job failures. o Root cause analysis was done on the data issues found and defects were raised accordingly using ‘Radar’ application. o Followed the defect lifecycle in handling the defects by re-testing the fixed ones & assigning back to DEV if not resolved & closing them only once fixed. o Follow-ups & Co-ordinating with development team as and when required to triage the defects. o Made sure to monitor the Tables & Views for 5 days to ensure there are no issues found before sent for deployment. o Parent table analysis was done on the failed views to check the data issues/ aptness in the underlying tables. o Made sure to retain the Queries used & reports generated in a shared location for future reference.Tool and Technology used:PythonAutosysSnowflakeGBI-PipelinePycharmExcel
