TUGA was Siemens, Ansaldo, BP and Zollern partnership producing Gas, Steam, Industrial and wind turbine and compressor with over 1700 employees.Key Responsibility:• Preparing welding documents such as WPS, PQR, and WQT.• Review inspection reports, NDE/NDT, and mechanical testing reports for pressured and non-pressured parts.• Attending technical meetings with client consultants.• Preparing final construction reports prior to handover, specifically with regard to welding.• Being an active member of the committee for implementing welding quality assurance based on ISO 3834 at TUGA.• Conducting research on repairing turbine components and pressure vessels by welding and brazing.• Conducting delivery inspections of gas turbine components including the turbine, compressor, combustion chamber, vane and blade, expansion joint, intake, and exhaust system according to ITPs and quality requirements.• Monitoring to ensure effective implementation of ITPs & ITRs by the contractor and attending hold & witness points.• Checking weld maps, NDT maps, and weld/NDT traceability.• Answering technical support requests (TSRs) or non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to special processes such as welding, brazing, and heat treatment for turbine components.
