I humbly try to understand how connected technologies such as 5G, IoT, cyber, AI, fibre, data centres and satellites impact Society, Economy, Government and Nation. I have worked in 80+ countries which give uniqueness to my global insights, experience and contact base. I am a Visiting Fellow at UTS, a Ministerial Programme chair at Mobile World Congress, a Council Member of the Australian Institute for International Affairs, have written for Forbes, the Sydney Morning Herald and the FT. I am fortunate - given huge opportunities in my career, mentored by a number of great business leaders and been "in the room" for a number of key business and nation-shaping events around the globe.Border Crossings, a memoir of my journey with identity, was published in the UK in 2021, in Asia and Australia in 2023 and is being translated into Arabic for release in 2025.
