Job Overview:As Assistant Manager Group Life Operations department & Product development, I am responsible to head entire Group Life Operations portfolio.Major Responsibilities: Product Development; Develop new products in order to cater the market needs and to increase the market penetration; Issuing Group Life Quotations; Supervise & facilitate the pricing and issuance of Group Life Quotations (both New Business & Renewal); Relationship Management with Corporate Customers; Paying visits to Corporate Clients to ensure customer retention and better co-ordination and arranging presentations to selected new Corporate Customers, to help them understand its intricacies and the benefits; System development & System testing; Test and rectified end to end system of INSIS for Group Life Operations. Setting up Group Life Policies in business system; Entails making complete set-up of policies (Group Life) in the business system called “Insys” i.e. from system activation through initial billing; MIS reporting of Group Life Business to Management & Finance; reporting of MIS and reconciliation of Group Accounts & billing etc. Also, maintain receivables/aging of the Corporate Clients and identifying bad-debts; Processing Renewals; Ensure that the renewal quotes of both Group Life are timely got processed through Actuary and delivered to the clients through Corporate Sales; Underwriting of Group Life; Ensuring swift underwriting of all above FCL (Free Cover Limit) cases by timely issuance of requirement letters and following up for the pending requirements; Process Enhancements; Continuous improvements through the use of VSM (Value Stream Mapping) tool to improve efficiency and Turn Around Times (TAT) by reducing wastes in the processes; Liaise with;o Re-Insurer/Re-Takaful, for underwriting decisions on facultative business and procure competitive terms for Clients;o Brokers.o Corporate Sales Team

 Responsible for day-to-day activity of Group Life Operations department, medical underwriting, Schemes administration, its quality, execution, process, improvement and adherence to best practices and for employee development through direct monitoring, coaching and feedback. Review and evaluate insurance/Takaful applications and related documents to properly evaluate new business and classification of risk in accordance with company’s standards and Re-Takaful guidelines. Ensures that Policies & Procedures have been approved updated coordinated and integrated with the overall Processes, Policies and Procedures of the organization. Group Life system maintenance and development; this requires identification and resolution of system errors and correspondence with IT & Systems as well as system vendor (ATEINS) for development and implementation of new system modules. Maintaining long term relationship with the Corporate Customers. Prepare MIS and analysis of Group Business for the Managing Director.

• Lead Group Life team at Pak Qatar Family Takaful. • Extensive experience in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Client Servicing activities. • Work as a bridge to handle the administrative activities in coordination with the various departments.• Processing the insurance proposal forms as well as handling renewals, policy servicing & policy servicing, etc • Maintaining all the system generated records & MIS. • Look after the Billing section of Group Life Takaful.• Expertise in the usage of the (PENTA SOFT) business system used at Pak Qatar Family Takaful.• Regular visit to our corporate customers to resolve the queries and to deliver high level of customer satisfaction.
