13 Years’ Technical ExperienceJOB TITLE: Optical SDH/IP/OTN/DWDM Transmission Engineer - IMS/CS Core engineer(NTI)• Optical & Microwave Protocols: PDH, SDH, ATM, OTN, IP• Configuration: NMS /U2000 server support for HUAWEI Technologies (IP MW, Hybrid MW, TDM(PDH/SDH) MW) & (OSN 1500, OSN 2500, OSN 3500, OSN 8800 and OSN 9800) • Optical network architecture: ROADM, FOADM, ASON, OSNR, dispersion, PMD, Optical Amplifiers, DCM, Coherent and Non-Coherent Hybrid, OptiX OSN 1500, OptiX OSN 2500, OptiX OSN 3500, OptiX OSN 1800, OptiX OSN 8800, OptiX OSN 9800, PSS8, PSS16, PSS32, PSS36, PSS64• IP transmission protocols: VLAN, MPLS, GMPLS, OSPF, BGB, VPN, Pseudowire Emulation Edge to Edge (PWE3), E-Line and E-LAN Services, CESoPSN, EPL, EVPL, EPLAN, EVPLAN and Data Center Networking• Microwave: Good experience with MINI-LINK product family: MINI-LINK 6600 & Huawei: OptiX RTN 910, OptiX RTN 980, OptiX RTN 950A , OptiX RTN 905, OptiX RTN 950, Measuring VSWR, TDR, Alignment, Troubleshooting.• FTTH access network: GPON, FTTH/B/C HSfI and VoIP service configuration, maintenance and verification, (In-band/Out-band) configuration • FTTH network architecture: OLT, ONT, MDU, ONU, Gateway ONT, Splitters, ODU, MA5800 and EA5800 product family• Optical Fiber: Site survey, Design, Single line diagram, cable routing, administration, technical room design, and Material approvals - Experience in inside/outside plant of fiber optic cable placing, fiber panel installation, splicing and testing.• Tested fiber with different and advanced tools like OTDR, Power Meter, VFL Continuity Tester and Troubleshooting, • Protection Principles: MSTP, MS-OTN Protection Principles, Optical line protection (OLP), Self-Healing Schemes, APS, Tunnel APS 1+1 protection, ODUk SNCP protection, Tributary SNCP Switching, Link Aggregation Group (LAG)• Core network protocols & principles: Good understanding of GSM/3G/LTE/5G architecture with respect to Core Networks - C7, SIP, Diameter – IMS SBC, CSCF, DNS, MGW, MRF, MGCF, ATS, CCF – Basic troubleshooting of base station sub-system (BSS), Monitoring of various related KPI’s to ensure optimal operations.• Discussing and presenting the design to the client and /or the Consultant and agree on the solution. Evaluating products & solutions with Manufacturer and creating a technical proposal including solution description, diagrams and pricing.• CCTV, CATV, Telephone System, Access Control System (Installation – Commissioning – Testing - Maintenance)• Familiar with Python, MATLAB, Cadence, COMSOL Multiphysics, C/C++, and other simulation tools
