I was running the shop as a team leader as well as regularly opening and closing the store. I was responsible for the Entertainment department which made the most money for the store. This was selling DVDs, CDs and games software and hardware. I delegated duties to others and I set up store promotions including advertising special offer which changed weekly. I motivated the team by giving them the daily sales targets which they helped to beat. I also was responsible for checking and unpacking stock deliveries, correctly pricing items, attaching security tags and merchandising the shop floor.
