I am a Health Specialist and AI Strategist dedicated to advancing distributive justice in healthcare to mitigate structural inequities and bridge health disparities. Specializing in participatory projects, I employ ethnographic and systems-thinking approaches to foster community-driven solutions.My body of work encompasses creative health interventions and arts-based, co-design methodologies to support patient rehabilitation within the NHS and maternal health initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa. In the latter, I lead collaborations between NHS midwives and traditional birth attendants, addressing critical workforce gaps and strengthening local health capacity. As the founder of Our Impact, I have directed health promotion and community engagement programs for racialized communities, with support from the NHS, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, and a prominent health official who stood beside the UK Prime Minister in addressing the nation during the pandemic.My work is inextricably linked to grassroots activism within the UK and beyond. These unique experiences have afforded me the privilege of working closely with the families of George Floyd and Stephen Lawrence, as well as supporting the Grenfell community as an emergency response volunteer in the aftermath of the tragedy. I have also contributed scholarly work examining the role of Corporate Social Responsibility in alleviating health inequities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
