• Identify missing children and children who need family tracing services • Conduct the registration of unaccompanied and separated children and other vulnerable children. • Establish a trusting, respectful working relationship with the child, family and community and record basic information about the child using the relevant forms. • Conduct the assessment and documentation of unaccompanied and separated children and other vulnerable children. Work with the child, family and community to: • Understand the nature of the child/family’s needs and problems. This entails assessing the risks to family members plus the strengths of the child. • Conduct structured identification exercises and updates on the child protection situation in the designated zone relating to unaccompanied and separated children and other vulnerable children.• Provide direct service (e.g. PFA, mediation, skills building & giving resources) • Link the child and family with the needed services (referrals) and coordinate multiple services (case conference) Fill Best Interest assessment, full registration, other vulnerability assessment formats and responsible to update the cases of children under his/her supervision.
