• Provide specialized assistance in the planning and implementation of protection activities within IOM Libya’s Protection projects in a timely manner, collaborating constructively with the Protection Coordinator and/or the designated Project Officers in carrying out financial, administrative and technical aspects in line with IOM’s policies and procedures, as well as donor requirements;• Support the implementation of the project activities, identify and analyse issues and initiate follow up actions, support communication and visibility activities within projects;• Develop tools to track and record protection related data and populate data upon request from project manager or other units/stakeholders • Provide technical support to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of protection related data and other information management activities. • Work closely with the Protection team leaders and case officers and support the collation, analysis and reporting of data on protection activities • Monitor expenditures suggest adjustments, prepare draft narrative reports, statistical analyses, information bulletins and other relevant information related to migrants and displaced populations. • Lead MiMOSA rollout and quality assurance of data’s in the Protection unit.• Coordinate closely with the data management protection assistant in the maintenance of all protection-related case-management records and files; provide statistics and data analysis as required;• Develop Monitoring and Evaluation SoPs of field level protection data collection and management,• Supervise case workers of Benghazi, Misrata, Sabha and Zwara and data entry assistant of Tripoli office.• Develop social media guidelines for IOM Libya Protection unit and coordinate visibility and branding of protection work.

• Oversees all aspects of the data management process, including but not limited to; development and smooth running of all data collection tools, data input, data analysis and reporting. • Involved in developing and training project staff (and partners, as required) on the data collection tools and methodologies. Identifies and responds to additional training needs.• Provide technical support in the development and management of relevant databases, and to utilize such databases for analysis and reporting purposes.• Report in the given format and ensure the data reported is accurate, relevant and complete. In close collaboration with PM, DPM and outreach teams, coordinate the implementation of the pre/post impact beneficiary assessments. • Supports project team and project related activities, as required, to identify and record beneficiary data. This includes participating in Screening, Pre and Post assessment if necessary.• Transmit all IMSMA paper forms to the DPM for filing once all the data is entered and that all quality checks have been done.• Analyze data and provide weekly and monthly reports to the DPM and PM or as requested.• Manage and update any data related dashboard or visual analysis tools to enable quick and efficient analysis by project staff.• Actively participates in team trainings and staff meetings (both nationally and internationally) as required throughout the project cycle.
