Today, with over 20,000 Metric Tons of Carbon Steel Pipes in Stock at any time, we are considered one of the largest Stockiest in the Arabian Gulf region.Managing enquires for pipe fittings receiving from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Europe and Far-east clients.• Liaising with sales staff to effectively issue requests for quotation for procuring pipe fittings with correct specifications. • Negotiating with suppliers and vendor for discount for final best prices and delivery. • Preparing computerized purchase orders through Oracle and placing to suppliers after considering alternatives based on price and delivery time• Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non conformances. • Working closely with supervisors and project managers to ensure the prompt and accurate sourcing of products. • Coordinating with the planning department to ensure that the project schedule has all the current data in reference to lead times and estimated delivery dates. • Follow up for production schedules to ensure orders are executed on time. • Co-ordinate with logistics department for arranging collection of goods based on the agreed incoterm with supplier.• Coordinating with quality department and vendor to resolve quality issue on the received material.
