Working with special needs children

I am working as a Special Educator and also an Assistant Occupational therapist for children with special needs. Working children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability etc. I prepare IEP and also engage them in group sessions for learn social interaction. Interact with parents to engage them for child's progress. Use different teaching methods to make the learning more efficient .As an Assistant therapist I engage the students in physical activities, working upon their sensory issues. Also work upon their attention, coordination , interaction with other people, reduce hyperactivity etc.
