Snr Well Engineer - OperationsCurrently working as Senior Well Engineer for a challenging HPHT, Deep Gas Exploration 3000 HP Rig.

Senior Well Engineering Activity PlannerThis position one of the most important positions within the well engineering community as it deals with the companies future planning. One of the critical roles is planning the future of the company, starting from a 5 years plan well cost catalogue (WCC) to sequencing all rigs to drill the yearly planned wells to sustain oil and gas production targets. In this position I moved forward towards the management side and having to deal with 4 different costumers (Oil north, oil south, exploration and Gas) gave me a high level of management skills as every costumers has their own wishes and targets to achieve and as a WE planner I need to make sure that all costumers are happy and all targets are achieved with minimal disturbance.

Well Site Drilling SupervisorIn this position I came to be the man in charge and responsible for everything on rig site from the safety of myself and my crew to the delivery of the drilling programme and targets. This position gave me the experience of leadership and management and allowed me to be in face to face contact with service hands. I started as a DSV on a deep gas rig and moved on to a more challenging environment to a deep gas exploration rig with lots of unknowns and challenges that I loved.

Operation Engineer + Plan & Design Engineer for Shallow Oil Exploration. In this position I learnt how to run and supervise a rig from the office applying all the things I learnt while I was in the field, I also learnt how to deal with contractors and sometime negotiated with them new terms and conditions for getting new tools that were not part of their contract. I drilled all different types of wells like exploration, gas, and appraisal, vertical, deviated and horizontal wells. I also worked (simultaneously) as a plan and design engineer for shallow oil exploration where I designed all the well types for shallow oil exploration wells for WCC 2009, in this position I went very deep into the materials of every single well type and got to know everything that goes into the well from the big items like the well Head, casing..etc to the very small items like bolts and nuts. Also had to take into account all the services and overheads required for every single well type. In this position I obtained my RII certificate.

* Well Site Well Engineer in exploration, deep gas, Development gas rigsIn this position I learnt all about the rig operations on step by step basis like drilling, HSE, cementation, directional drilling, logging, mud chemicals...etc, also learnt about the rig and drilling equipments like well control equipments, logging tools, directional drilling tools, cementation units and tools, fishing tools...etc. In this period I was placed on exploration and deep gas rigs where I had so much to learn.
