In this tenure, I represented the State of Qatar as a Board Member of Istesmar QSC, a private general investment vehicle wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance. In my role as Secretary General of the State Finance Committee, I created the state loan strategy by identifying financial needs and engaging with borrowers, lenders, investors, and credit agencies. Additionally, I served as an Executive Member of the Ministry of Finance team that worked with credit agencies to reaffirm Qatar's investment grade. I also played a key role as an Executive Member of the Ministry of Finance team that led the non-deal roadshow and market sounding exercise in 2017.• Implemented over US $20B in landmark debt issuances at the state level through syndication, bilateral loans, debt capital markets, and ECA financing, including:• The US $5.5B syndicated loan for the State of Qatar.• The multi-tranche US $9.0B bond offering, the largest ever bond issue from the Middle East & CEEMEA regions in 2016.• Served an ECA facility of EUR 6B for equipment purchases.• Functioned as Executive Member of the Finance Team in the Bond Market Road Show 2016.• Created policies and financing plans to reduce funding costs both locally and in international markets.• Prepared and consolidated periodic reports on the financial commitments of GREs and their subsidiaries.• Evaluated cash flow and leverage ratios to adjust and limit GRE commitments and liabilities.• Advised and structured several GREs on alternative financing solutions.• Diversified sources of funding to meet state liquidity needs.

Projects include:• US $460M acquisition and redevelopment finance of a prime building located in New York City under New York law.• US $710M total project cost related to development of a five-star resort and luxury residential units in UAE.• Implemented US $1.1B total project cost related to the construction of a new mixed-use development project in the state of Qatar.• Spearheaded the US $1.8B project for developing a mixed-use complex encompassing retail spaces, hotel accommodations, studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and leisure facilities.• Expanded bank asset books by acquiring secondary Qatari assets totalling US $700M, including Qatofin Company Limited Q.S.C., Qatar Aluminium Limited, and Qatar Power Company.• Collaborated with Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, SNR Denton, Slaughter and May, and other legal firms to produce financial documents for transactions.• Assigned by QNB Senior Management to participate in the structuring of SME business.

In this tenure, I managed clients' portfolios and actively marketed trade finance and treasury products to meet diverse financial needs. I supervised daily operations and diligently monitored accounts to ensure seamless service delivery.• Participated in the bank's Management Training Programme, gaining comprehensive experience through rotations in treasury, corporate, retail, risk, collection, and operations divisions.• Fostered strong relationships with new and existing customers at a commercial bank, fostering client satisfaction.
