Mohammed Al Ashi has been based in the U.S. since 2012. He developed an early appreciation for proportions, visuals, place-making, and design. These interests led him to a career in architecture and a passion for crafting places that are compelling and improve people's lives. His work is known for its elegance, contextual responsiveness, and attention to technical details. As a design leader for several prestigious, award-winning projects, he has been Instrumental in HAK’s key commissions. He has practiced design with prestigious, world-class architects such as Vincent Van Duysen, Vladimir Djurovic, LAN, Sahelal Hiyari, and WATG. He led the architecture design of many unique projects, such as the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue & J Dar. He is experienced in a broad spectrum of project typologies in the Middle East, including institutional, commercial, entertainment, hospitality, residential, educational, and urban design developments.
