After being appointed as a chairman of the league, we had conducted the first ever board meeting, wherein we discussed the key issues for a long and sustainable future of the Saudi Professional League. Managed to sign a new title sponsorship deal with Abdullatif Jameel (leading Toyota dealer in GCC region). Negotiated a new long term broadcasting deal with MBC sports to give a new dimension to the High quality match coverage and production.

Have been playing a key role in commercializing the league ever since its launch in 2008. Today, the Saudi Professional League has been established as a commercial entity, whose aim is to generate profitable new revenue streams in order to support and help the Saudi Football Clubs to manage the sport in the kingdom at the highest professional level and become a profitable organization.In recent years, SPL has managed to sign a leading sponsorship deals in GCC region such as League’s title sponsorship with Zain and Co-sponsorship deal with top international brands which are synonymous to sports globally i.e Fly Emirates, Master Card, Toyota and Nike. We are also in a talk with Aquafina, a PepsiCo owned drinking water brand to produce SPL’s clubs branded water bottle.
