 Responsible for planning, developing, advising , monitoring and coordinating health safety, security & environmental compliance and programs across OOCEP (Block 60) field concession area and associated projects and implementation of HSE Management System, Policies and relevant legal compliance , handling the Field Security & Crisis Management. Ensures compliance with Oman health, safety and environmental applicable laws/regulations, and evaluate compliance through planned audits and inspections.  Promote culture in which HSE is prime concern and will never be compromised, ensuring the involvement of all OOCEP and Contractor employees in various HSE programs. Inspects facilities, machinery, equipment, and personnel practices Prepare and maintain OOCEP & contractors monthly HSE statistics reports and ensure submission on timely manner. Review and analysis of OOCEP and contractors IVMS reports and provide counselling to defaulters and ensure effective implementation of LSR consequence matrix. Report all HSE and security non-conformities or deviation from OOCEP approved standard operating procedures.  Perform site inspection / monitoring of Civil & Mechanical site activities to ensure that all related activities are properly comply with HSE Policies and HSEMS. Implementation of project HSE plans and procedures. Enforce OOCEP and international environmental management system ISO 14001. Develop corrective and preventive actions CAPA, to prevent OOCEP assets from loss or impact arising from HSE issues.

Major Duties / Tasks: Responsible for all health, safety, and environment (HSE) duties and reports involving the rig. As the HSE representative. Ensures compliance with and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.  Responsible for safety inspections of the rig, looking for any deficiencies in documentation, equipment or facilities. Witness all critical operations aboard the rig.  Conducts safety audits include inspections of lifting gear, hygiene inspections, and verification of safe storage of dangerous goods and equipment. Writes all HSE reports and files them with the appropriate authorities, including the weekly HSE report on the rig, the monthly report, and any spill reports or incident reports. Makes sure workers have all the protective equipment and clothing they need to ensure their safety on the job. Promotes safety consciousness on the part of all workers, both employees and contracted workers.  Responsible for training workers on oil rigs in drilling and operational safety procedures. Identifies areas where training is needed or where upgraded training could be useful. Coordinates safety courses for workers, as well as organizing campaigns to motivate workers to use safe behaviour on the rig.Responsibilities Involving Contractors Interfaces with all contractors to make sure they meet all safety requirements specified in their contract. In charge of correcting any unsafe practices on the part of contracted workers.  Advises contractors on safety compliance and emergency drills.Emergency Planning and Risk Analysis Responsible for emergency planning and implementation. Performs job safety analysis and risk analysis at the onset of a job. Accident Response Responsible for writing reports on any accidents or safety-related incidents. Makes recommendations on how to prevent such accidents from occurring again.

Fire chief, Al-Seeb Air Base  Responsible for Fire Department at Al-Seeb Air Base, in charge of crew of 45 staff, 15 direct reports. Accountable for all crew training, equipment specification & readiness, buildings, etc. Up to 4 passenger aircraft landings per day.Hawk , C130, BC9 , passenger Aircraft Responsible for site emergency comma nd & control Responsible for Airfield and Airplane safety procedures

 Instructor at Air force Fire Training School, Masirah Island. Instructor for Basic Fireman & Advanced Upgrade Fireman Courses, for all military aircraft ranging from helicopters through heavy transport aircraft and fast jet fighters.• Responsible for providing training & instruction in theory and practical fire fighting• Expertise in Fuel fire, Crash response techniques, practical training• Over 9 training periods a year with over 100 trainees in each training period

 Started as a cadet in the Sultan’s Armed Services, and specialized in Fire Safety and Rescue.
