I have served the Engineer Regiment of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and the Headquarters (HQ) Department of the Army (DA) for more than 26 years, serving in a variety of tactical, operational, and strategic positions including 30 months in combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have distinguished myself from my peers, as an innovative strategist exercising critical and creative thinking to navigate and simplify complex systems to advance engineering in support of the Army Climate Strategy, Operational Energy, Contingency Basing, and the Arctic Strategy.Since 2018, I've led the Office of the Chief of Engineers (OCE) Contingency Construction and Operational Energy portfolio. My herculean efforts on these three projects enabled the highly politicized transition of Ibn Sina Hospital back to the Government of Iraq, the seamless displacement of the Baghdad Combat Support Hospital out of the International Zone, and most importantly facilitated the historical 98% trauma survival rate realized by the 10th CSH during OIF 08-10. -
