Current• Provide engineering and construction support to Asset Teams and assist Planning SEK Team with technical details to update Planning requirements.• Initiate/prepare/update Conceptual Proposals, Budget Proposals, Authorized Fund Expenditures, Project Charters, Project Exemption Forms, Monthly Business outlooks, Quarterly Progress Reports.• Determine most effective approaches to new projects by reading and analyzing proposals, drawings and sketches to satisfactorily meet Asset Team requirements in line with Project Stage Gate System.• Evaluate Asset proposals, identify project, initiate projects, conceptual design, conduct feasibility study, prepare project scope/statement of requirements, and prepare preliminary costing & budgeting and high level project scheduling/planning.• Prepare Decision Support Packages (DSP) in every stage of the projects, submit DSP’s to Capital Project Planning Team, review project queries and obtain project review committee approvals.• Evaluate engineering change request by Asset Teams in the existing design of the facilities using Management of Change (MOC) Procedures based on KOC standard guidelines.• Project design reviews and optimize design approaches for new in-house projects and revamping existing facilities/electrical equipment without compromising KOC standard design requirements.• Analyze power requirements for new in-house projects with in Gathering centers (GC), Effluent water disposal plants & other facilities in Burgan oil field.• Participate in RCA of electrical equipment failures through design reviews and troubleshooting.• Facilitate Maintenance Teams in shutdown activities, Survey electrical equipment conditions and ensure conformance to KOC standards requirement.• Prepare equipment specification and finalize with Material Support Team to prepare CAT ID, raise DTR, Review and finalize RFQ’s and until equipment’s delivery.• Electrical equipment’s comprehensive witnessing in Factory & on Site – FAT and SAT.
