Primarily responsible for the day-to-day communication of fixture designs, improvements, and approvals. Act as the product lead for the fixture category and ensure the products meet customer requirements. Communicate with Suppliers, R&D, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure products meet shipping schedules and company quality standards. Work closely and advise Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service and Graphics department in tracking and following- up on new product development and product changes for our growing fixture business.I have a strong interpersonal, collaboration skills and the drive to be a lighting fixture leader in the fast-evolving LED market.-Manage the fixture development cycle from First Article Approval (FAA) procedures to mass production.-Track fixtures through the new product development phases-Communication with vendors/supplier on expectation, timelines, and deadlines. -Ensure all fixtures meet the shipment target schedule with the right quality.-Develop product development milestone chart and work with internal and external partners to follow to it.-Responsible to manage PPT (pre-purchase test) for The Home Depot in its entirety.-Work with other departments to define product testing scope and objectives.-Responsible for design changes and improvements to existing fixtures.-Ensure fixtures comply with UL, ETL, ES, DLC, and customer requirements.-Keep a log of all open testing issues and make sure they are resolved.-Analyze fixture problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to make product better.-Communicate priorities and improvements to our China Quality Assurance Team and Engineering dept.

• Substantial Communication with suppliers overseas to design LED lighting systems from concept to production launch• Design products to meet IRTronix’ quality, cost and performance targets• Design and Source LED products to comply with appropriate safety and performance agency requirements (UL, DLC, JA8, CEC)• Follow-up with suppliers to make sure all delivery times are met• Maintain and meet project schedules• In charge of submitting all LED lighting Purchase Orders.• Maintain project design folders and documentation.• Provide technical input on active projects of other engineers as needed• Electrical, mechanical and optical testing as needed• Work with various utility companies to understand energy efficient programs
