Assist in the identification and sequencing of speakers, field visits, and exercises most appropriate for LDF fellows and to meet the objectives of the program. Assist in serving as the point of contact with teaching faculty, outside speakers, field visits, LDF fellows, and counterparts at World Learning/ U.S. State Department. Serve as a resource to LDF fellows on issues of acclimation related the programs and life in the US.

Peace Coach
After completion of an extended training program that included both theoretical studying and practical skills training, which took place in Thailand and became qualified to supervise, facilitate, coach and monitor the progress of participants in the self-development program that lasts 42 days and teaches meditation techniques for the inner peace development of participants. The program offers daily-guided meditation sessions and discussion to promote certain topics related to promoting peace and mutual respect and to support the practice of mindfulness in participant’s daily life.

• Monitors, analyzes and reports on humanitarian response and developments during crisis and rise of conflict. • Leads and participates in large, complex projects relief projects during rise of conflict, humanitarian/emergency assistance for complex emergency that includes intervention in conflict stricken areas and crisis zones.• Organizes and participates in work groups, meetings, conferences, consultations with other agencies and partners humanitarian and emergency relief-related matters.• Develop, lead and participate in large post-conflict reconstruction and rehabilitation projects targeting conflict stricken zones and conflict victims. • Represent the agency as a delegate in many international events, forums, meetings and conferences to review the latest updates related to the preparation process, intervention and rising challenges.

• Work with a range of strategic partners to assist in the drafting, development and implementation of a responsive curriculum defined by the challenging needs of promoting peace, tolerance and understanding. • Research, develop and train in-service teaching personnel on quality enhancement and tailored-education strategies for children categorized as ‘conflict-affected individuals’• Support the education department in achieving the required standards of refugees and displaced-persons relief as outlined in the UNRWA mandate.
