- Manage all phases of Project Management for Civil Work (CW) including Engineering, design, construction, quality control, staffing & cost control. - Coordination, Control and Follow up of Installation Execution for Civil Works, Buildings, Trenching, MEP, HVAC and BMS works in additional to Signaling, and Power Supply Equipment Installation activities. -Participate and support the project team for accurate, timely and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution and closeout.- Leading Project CVW staff in the market and ensures through staff understanding and implementation of operation policies and procedures (6 Siemens Engineers) + 5 Sub-Contractors.- Lead the civil team work to complete the projects (including the punch list, As Built drawings, site acceptance test) within the specific period as per contract.- Development of a dynamic work plan by giving advice, recommendations, referring to specifications. - Look after Structural design team as complete structural design is carried out in house (Verifying / optimization). - Coordination with civil designer & consultant to settle civil design and to expedite the Approval. - Review Project schedule, follow up progress and ensure the planned target as achieved. - Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. - Participate in setting project objectives and contributes to the development of a comprehensive project plan. -Develop and direct the strategic plan of the work including the resources and cost. - Assessing the Sustainability and Environmental Impact of Projects Ensuring projects run smoothly and Structures are completed within Budget and on Time.- Conducting regular Site meetings with subcontractor(s) for availability of required material and resources and look ahead Schedules. - Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely and complete reports to the client and company.

- Assist in establishing project strategy comprising procurement method - form of tendering - contract type. - Prepare replies related to contractual issues to send to all bidders. - Apply change management and claims prevention expertise in the management of contact. - Evaluate and review claims and extension of time issues raised by construction contractors. - Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations. - Administers assigned (sub) contracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties. - Prepares periodic status reports for management. - Modify, gain approvals, and process the execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Consulting. - Agreements, as well as, Contracts, Subcontracts, and their affiliated Modifications, Amendments. - Supporting estimation team for civil Price preparation / Evaluation for Tenders.

- Managing the on-site project’s resources including manpower about 100 persons, 2 engineers+4 supervisors+ 8 Forman, materials, and equipment according to settled plan. - Forecasting site activities for look ahead schedule and coordination with steel related stakeholders. - Management of the on-site documentations (Ascertainment of facts, field orders, variation orders, purchase requests …etc.). - Checking all the drawings and method of construction. - Deal with any activity or situation, could have a negative impact on the project, and determine the most constructible solution prior to and during the construction. - Active coordination with Client (NAT) and consultant (SYSTRA) to avoid any quality impact. - Scheduling material and equipment purchases and delivery. - Make sure that the site follows the safety procedures and Preparing Job safety analysis (JSA) for each critical activity to avoid Risks. - Site Installation including traffic diversion, erecting of site fences, installing of temporary offices and relocation of utilities (Water, Sewage, Electricity, Telephone and Gas). - Geotechnical Works including excavation, backfilling, compaction, grouting, - Investigation of the site conditions during the different phases including Verifying the locations of the existing utilities, Checking the building conditions and inspect the building foundations Study the different alternatives and determine the most constructible solutions prior to and during the construction - Managing the Diaphragm walls barrettes construction and Tunneling works, Structural Works including slabs, beams, columns, stairs, and insulation works. - Controlling the reinforcement concrete casting for the different Slab and Columns (Roof –Intermediate, Ticket and Platform) and isolation works. - Architectural finishing works including plastering, concrete Flooring, - Coordinate Surveying works Landscape and reimbursement about land coordinates and site measurement.

- Full responsible for all civil works in 2 sites (Malawy, Samalot) - Managing the on-site project’s resources including manpower, materials, and equipment according to settled plan. - Management of the on-site documentations for both sites - Coordination works with the Consortium partners. - Handing Over to other lots to start installation. - Schedule and planning of the Subcontractors works. - Supervising the different construction stages, excavation, installation etc. - Co-ordinate between the different contractors themselves and the quality control department. - Quantity survey of the subcontractors works. - Preparation, reviewing and coding of the Subcontractors Invoices. - Supporting the project team for project handing over.

Project Description The New Assiut Barrage across the Nile River consists of: Hydropower Plant with 4 bulb turbines 32 MW, Sluiceway with 8 radial gates with discharge 7000 m3/sec, Double Navigation Locks (220 m length and17 m width), Right and left closure dyke (3.5 km length), Public Road bridge, Riverbed protection, Diversion canal, Rehabilitation of the existing head regulators and Service buildings. The reinforced concrete quantity was 380,000 m3. The earthworks quantities were 5,000,000 m3 The Barrage was constructed under five contracts - Civil Works, Hydro-mechanical Equipment, Bulb Turbines and Generators, Electrical Equipment, and Transmission Line, in full accordance with Egyptian environmental laws and international guidelines.Responsibilities Camp construction and Mobilization (lasted for the project period – 7 years) at Assuit. - Sub project schedule review (IBRAHIMIA – 2 Towers of Employer Housing) - Updating the progress of work regularly (weekly, monthly ,6months). - Responsible for Utilities and Installation Drawings. - Responsible for Joint Survey, As Built and Setting out for all site works (Earth works, Concrete works, Riverbed protection). - Lead 4 Senior Surveyors & 6 Surveyors for Surveying works and inspections Civil elements at Powerhouse, Navigation lock and sluice ways in additional to the Nile riverbed. - Dispatch contour drawing for Nile riverbed after Dredging works. - Monitoring the old Barrage. (IBRAHIMIA Head regulator) – dilapidation Survey - Restoration and strengthening for IBRAHIMIA Head Regulator works.- Preparing formwork shop drawings and coordinating between Job items. - Responsible for the development of Earthworks Drawings.

The Project area is 35 Fadden consist of 3 buildings foundations and column head with steel structure (Cairo terminal 1 & 2 and Express building will be used by DHL company for cargo storage, Concrete Tank, Retaining Walls.- Site engineer with full responsibilities of the site management, preparing the monthly payment certificate, daily reports, and construction activities for the project. - Provide the milestones for main civil activities to be incorporated in project. -Any discrepancy between monthly schedule and the progress at sites to be highlighted and find suitable solution to expedite the progress at site to be within or ahead the schedule
