I am currently Project Engineering Manager at Worley and have experience working on various mining house projects which include Anglo American Platinum, Kumba Iron Ore, Randgold Resources, AngloGold Ashanti, ENRC Boss mining, Impala Platinum, Assmang, Southgold exploration, PPC and BHP Billiton. These projects cover the full spectrum of project life cycle, from concept studies, prefeasibility studies, feasibility studies, execution projects as well as condition monitoring on site during operation. My experience covers the conceptual and detailed design of common as well as complex concrete and structural steelwork structures which ranges from typical static structures to dynamic vibrating structures both on surface and underground. I have a basic broad spectrum of knowledge of other disciplines which include knowledge of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD`s), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID`s), array of mechanical equipment and their operation as well as electrical Motor Control Centre (MCC) details.As a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer I have experience in planning, design and construction, preparation of specifications for various tenders, adjudication of tenders, contract administration, report writing and liaising with External Consultants, Contractors, and stakeholders. I was privileged to be involved in an international project in Mali for RandGold Resources and have gained much experience with supply of steelwork from international suppliers as well as dealing with vendors of mechanical equipment on the project from various continents.
