* Carry out the preventive, predictive, condition based maintenance and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment for the entire plant (generator, transformer, motor, UPS, battery bank, battery charger, HT & LT switchboards, DC system, Bus duct, DG, SF6 breaker, VCB, ACB, CT, PT, compressor and substation equipment & etc.)* Accountable for maintenance of HT & LT switchgear and equipment like CT, PT, CB, ISOLATOR, CVT, Transformers and HT< Motors etc.* Responsible for testing and commissioning of protection relays for motor, transformers & switchyard protection relays besides undertaking fault-findings and rectifications of Electrical Equipment (i.e. HV & LV feeders and control circuit) and allied equipment.* Implementing strategic vision and direction to maintenance so as to meet the medium and long term objectives of the organization.* Identifying root cause of failures and implementing quick breakdown solutions to put the equipment back in operation within minimum turnaround time.* Monitoring and analyzing the equipment to avoid unexpected breakdown and efficiently handling breakdown & modification by applying various efforts.* Responsible for preparation of Equipment History Cards, Daily and Monthly Schedules and Preventive Maintenance Schedule. Ensuring that equipment supplied are in compliance with approved & pre-set technical specifications* Planning the execution of maintenance activity, observing standard operational procedures for maintenance and considerably reducing down time. Overseeing site preparations, mobilizing contractors for carrying out commissioning activities* Ensuring proper documentation / records of control and review of maintenance, repairs, additions, changes and modifications while also ensuring all repair and maintenance work is carried out in a safe and professional manner and that machinery and equipment are available for use at all times.
