I actively served as Level I & II Service Desk Analyst and prepared/configured new laptops/workstations/thin clients and IP Phones to client specifications and trained end-users on the utilization of newly deployed software packages and upgrades.One of the key contributions I made to this role was ensuring maximum operability by efficiently managing incoming queue of Service Desk tickets from 1300+ users via e-mail, phone & in-person. I personally visited client sites to resolve outstanding tickets, and assisted users with various technical issues they had whilst maintaining a Queue of 20-30 tickets on a daily basis.My other key accomplishments are as follows:✯ I researched and selected upgrades, software, and other necessities for computer systems as well as installed, supported and troubleshot Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.✯ Showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills, I maintained a calm demeanor during every phone call whilst listening purposefully and understanding the technical issues of the users.✯ I also regularly performed general preventive maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and other authorized equipment to ensure smooth technology operations, and worked with hardware & software vendors to swiftly resolve clients’ issues.✯ Periodically, I performed backups for disaster recovery and prepared for upgrades by collaborating with other teams and escalating unresolved technical issues to Level III support staff.A list of my Key Projects:✯ Desktop Central and Mobile Device Management Implementation✯ Implementation of VoIP (AVAYA) Telephony✯ Network Revamp (for all the network locations) & Main Data Centre Revamp (Server Room)✯ Windows Migration from XP to Windows 7, 8, & 10✯ Office 365 Implementation Show less
