Company ManSaudi Aramco Dec 2005 - Presentjob descriptionwrite the daily drillng report, which includes information about drilling operations, mud data, bit data, horizontal drilling data( if drilling directionally), drilling BHA currently in hole, drilling parameters, rig cost , current casing in hole & depth, current depth for the well and drilling time, total people on rig , maximum allowable annular surface pressure.I should submit drillinf report to the drilling office, after that I start updating final well reports by information form DDR, these final drilling reports are divided with accordance to drilling operations, these include: daily time & cost, bit data, casing & cementing data, well head data, casing wear, section data, deviation data, general data, time & cost curve, depth curve& comparing it to the planned curve, environmental data, pit data, HSE report, summary of drilling operations, highlights & lowlights which include analysis to problems which took place and advises for their future avoidence, chemical consumption & cost .I finsh updating the final drlling reports by 6.30 a.m roughly.@ 7.00 am I make morning meeting with the rig crew (toolpusher,drilling fluid engineer, Ex-logger, assistant drilling supervisor), I discuss with them the ongoing operations & plan for the next 24.00hrs such as fire drill, H2S drill, preparing for the oncoming jobs such as casing, tubing, etc...the morning meeting is finished by 7.30 a.m,.I make morning call with my superintendent , we discuss the drilling operations during the last 24.00 hrs, current rig operations and plan for next 24.00 hrs, we also discuss any problems on the rig during the last 24.00 hrs such as stuck pipe, well control issues, mud loss, any hole problems(sloughing, hole collapse, ), I also call my boss for any problem that might occur and discuss it with him and suggested solutions to the problem.I then start planning for the oncoming jobs, if I need casing, tubing, wellhead equipment, casing & tubing -
