Some key highlights of my time here include streamlining our application for payment process, assisting in restructuring how we calculate our Cost to Date, and developing both internal and client forecasts. I’ve presented cost-to-value analyses to the Senior Leadership Team, confidently delivering numbers and insights during month-end reporting. Comparison of Subcontractor tenders for various work packages including the FRC works. Preparing and issuing several Subcontract short forms for various work packages and NEC 4 (Option A Subcontract) for the FRC works. In my first year, I worked on two Severn Trent Water diversion projects within an HS2 batch (total batch value £60M, with our projects totaling £25M) in September 2022. Following the departure of the Senior Quantity Surveyor, I assumed greater responsibility alongside another apprentice, successfully overseeing the completion of both projects.
