Expert in attar scents and bespoke perfumery. After training as an attar perfumer in the family perfumery, I worked for global creative and luxury perfume houses, premium skin care brand and cosmetic ingredient suppliers to expand my understanding of the industry. I grew up in the 1980s when the taboo on male grooming was just starting to lift, and I wanted to help change the way people experience and use perfumes. My heritage is a blend of Arab, Indian and British culture, and I draw on all of these when creating my scents. I also draw on my experience working for global creative and luxury perfume houses, premium skin care brand and cosmetic ingredient suppliers to expand my understanding of other people's product needs. After 15 years in the perfume and cosmetics industry and more than 20 years in the attar scent trade, I get as excited today when creating a scent as I did when I filled my first bottle of attar and saw the pleasure on the wearer's face.With the fading attar scent trade and increasing demand for personalised scents. I am focusing on developing bespoke products which combine traditional attar scents with modern perfumery to meet the needs of twenty-first century clients.
