Managing a team of Get into Football Officers to deliver a range of initiatives and interventions to increase youth and adult participation in football.I have a strategic remit to oversee the implementation of the core objectives set out by key stakeholders within the framework of the National Game Strategy and the FA Get into Football Plan.My duties involve,- providing support to a team of staff- networking with key partners and stakeholders- providing business and development support across the third sector- planning, delivering and evaluating a range of projects and interventions - Ensuring the successful delivery of the Get into Football Plan for Birmingham- Supporting the delivery of national FA initiatives

Managing Participation across Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Warwickshire and the Black CountryStrategic Development and Governance - Business planning - Operational Planning - Specialist Policy development i.e. Equality - Equality Standard- Compliance and sanctioning Implementation of Business Plan and company directives - Ensure that the business and operational plan are delivered, reviewed and re-strategized/ report to board and advisory groups. Communicate to staff team.- Manage the delivery of specific projects- Manage Key Performance Indicators - Implement effective internal communication structures Management of Staff- Providing clear leadership and direction- Effective monitoring protocol in place to review performance - Undertake PDR’s with staff - Training and Development of staff Financial Management- Implement effective and adequate financial controls - Manage/ review budgets (Recreational Strategy, Children and Young Peoples programme and Equality)- Re-assign budgets and provide reports Managing Relationships - Liaise between Board, staff and advisory groups - Prepare and lead meetings - Present to Board and Advisory Group Members - Manage relationships with key stakeholders i.e. board, council, advisory group members, County Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities, the Football Association, Funding bodies etc.- Dealing with Public relations and complaints
