o Responsible for smooth and proper laboratory operation as per scheduleo Calibration and maintenance of all laboratory instruments and standardization of chemical reagents and calibration standards.o Preparation of new SOP’s, Raw Data worksheet and generating various reports.o Review SOP’s/technical specifications/ validation protocols, validation reports and other quality documents/ change control procedures for SOP’so Procurement of new instruments, spares, chemicals and consumables.o Responsible for tie up and renewal of AMC/CMC, PM and breakdown maintenance of lab instruments.o HDPE packaging bag testing (Length,width,weight,strength,Ash content,Brand test, physical properties, Drop test etc. as per NITo Analysing Natural gas, process gas, flue gas, product CO2, product Urea, OASE solution (aMDEA), process intermediates, water and waste water, Environment monitoring, stack monitoring, Raw materials etc. as per schedule.o Monitoring the work of shift chemists. Guide the shift chemists and ensure the compliance of job schedule in the shift.o Coordination with shift incharge of Urea plant, Ammonia plant, Packaging Plant and Utility (SPG boilers/WTP/ETP/DM) plant to maintain the quality of process and product.o Analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product (Urea); managing the investigation of out of specification results, market complaints.o Ambient Air (PM10, PM2.5, SOx, NH3, NOx); Stacks (PM, NH3, NOx, Sox, CO, CO2) Noise Level; different parameters of effluents & sewage (COD, BOD, DO, NO3, TSS, O&G)o Work place monitoring for NH3, PM and Noise levelo Stack Monitoringo Works on failure analysis to find the reason of failureo Making and mailing reports and deviation reports of daily analysis.o Making report of consumption of reagents and standardso Ensure that the teams adhere to all the quality standards and procedures through precision/ calibration and monitoring sessions.

o Analysing various products ie: Light/Middile/Heavy Distillate eg. Diesel (HSD/LSD), Gasoline (A80/A92/A95), Aviation (TC-01/Jet A/ Jet A01), LPG, Petroleum Condensate, Octane booster and Lubricants etc.o Working on various instruments ie: Gas Chrometograph (FID), ED-XRF, LPG Sulphur Analyser, Manual and Autodistillation, Zeltex, PMCC, COC, Auto Flash point Analyser, Density Analyser, Pour / Cloud Point Tester, RVP analyser (Manual and Auto), Freezing point automatic tester, Copper corrosion test, LPG density analyser etc.o Various Analysis ie: Density, Relative Density, Kinematic Viscosity, RVP, Distillation, Flash Point, Freezing Pont, Cloud Point, Pour Point, RON, MON, Copper Corrosion, Voletile Sulphur, Total Sulphur, Lead Content, Cetane Number, Cetane Index, Water & Sediment Content.o Analysing and communicating test data.o Reportting Quality concerns of analysis to the Lab Manager.o Tested results entry in LIMS, also making draft reports of results.o Maintain Results and Data records.o Documentation and SOP Preparation.o Other Departmental work as per required to maintain safe and good environment.

Testing of raw materials, packing materials, in-process materials, and finished goods; managing the investigation of out of specification results, market complaints.
