After completing my 10th grade, I joined Mustafa & Co LLP as a Student Intern. During this time, I was introduced to the fundamentals of accounting, taxation, and finance. This early exposure sparked my interest and led me to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant. Despite starting as a below-average student, this internship provided the foundation that fueled my aspiration and growth in the field.

At Intellosoft Technologies Pvt Ltd, a DIPP recognized start-up specializing in SaaS solutions for compliance with Income Tax, GST, and ETDS filings, I played a pivotal role as an Operational and Functional Manager. My responsibilities included overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless functionality of the compliance software, and coordinating between various departments to drive efficiency and accuracy in tax and compliance processes. My close involvement in both the operational and functional aspects of the business allowed me to contribute significantly to the development and enhancement of our compliance solutions.

At Mustafa E Services Private Limited, a BPO specializing in compliance services, I managed return filings and ensured compliance with GST, ETDS, and Income Tax regulations. My role also encompassed financial accounting, where I was responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing accounts. Additionally, I contributed to the development of accounting software, enhancing system functionality to improve efficiency and accuracy. My involvement in these areas was crucial in supporting the company’s operational and compliance objectives.

Mustafa Marketing Pvt Ltd, established by my grandfather in 1975, has been a pioneer in the food industry, enjoying great success over the decades. In 2010, we expanded our portfolio by diversifying into furnishings and furniture, further cementing our presence in the market. My deep interest in our family business led me to join it immediately after qualifying my 10th grade, where I gained hands-on experience and practical knowledge in managing and growing our business operations. My role has been integral to maintaining our legacy and adapting to new market trends.
