JOB TITLE: - General Account ManagerGRADE: - Senior Manger REPORTING TO: - Finance Director RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Finance DirectorBasic Function: The General Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager supervises three staff accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, yearend audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.Scope of work: The Scope of this job are as follows:• Monitoring AR &AP all transactions on timely Basis.• Control Fixed assets transactions on timely Basis.• Verification and Confirmation financial internal control of the Payment request documentations before payment.• Maintaining chart of account.• Proceeding general ledger adjustment.• Trail Balance control.Principal Accountabilities:1- Responsible for direct supervision over accountants under his scope area2- Verifying the accuracy of the financial documents and procedures.3- Controlling the accuracy and entering of daily records and daily accounting transactions.4- Preparation of monthly and annual trial balance 5- Preforming the closing accounting adjustments.6- Supervising and maintaining the accounting records and fixed asset registration record.7- Setting all the accounting information relating sales and purchases and relevant.8- Acting, representing and holding the finance director responsibilities in case of his/her absence.Any extra responsibilities provided him by the finance director.
