 Responding to supplier emails and queries, and obtaining shipment information through email communication.  Obtaining clearance for dangerous goods (DG) through FASAH for the imported DG shipment.  Obtaining SABER certifications for regulated and non-regulated goods via the SABER online portal.  Responsible for renewing certifications, providing labs with product samples and details, and following up with the respective labs to renew product certificates.  Working on export terms for dangerous goods including "class category, packing group category, and flashpoint categories."  Negotiating with freight forwarders to minimize shipping costs and evaluating quotations to finalize the best pricing options.  Occasionally meeting with the forwarders to stay updated on industry fluctuations and find the best solution.  Granting authorization to the clearing brokers via the FASAH portal.  Tracking and tracing of shipments is carried out through various shipping line portals.  Hand over original shipping documents to the clearing agents as per the requirements.  Interacting with the finance department to process shipment payments and respond to supplier payment inquiries.  Act as a liaison between suppliers and the finance department regarding the suppliers' shipment terms and conditions

Such as (FOB,FAS,DAT,DAP,CIF,CFR,) Working on demurrage and detention charges to prevent least errors. Forwarding of shipping documents to clearing agent as per the schedule. Customs Clearance coordination of all the imported shipments. Arranging and following payment proofs for each cargo. Interacting with the dry port agent and airport agent regarding the shipment arrival status Analyzing logistics problems and finding solutions to ensure smooth flow of materials. Follow up with clearance agents and shipping lines. Payment arrangements for customs duty and other charges with accounts and supervising the procedures with agents, until the shipment cleared and pull out from ports. Follow up with agents and drivers and transporters for on time deliveries from port to company Warehouse. Making confirmation with Warehouses for cargo receipts, assuring the quantities, temperature and all the other things are in controlled conditions. Closing the cargo status after receiving at warehouse and updating the reports. regarding the requirement and to forecast the budget and manpower to pull out the containers from the port at the assigned time.
