Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safe Analysis, Job Safe Procedures and safety audits related documents in accordance with client standards and policies/procedures.• Verify, check and ensure that facilities, machinery, and safety equipment in the plant are in line with client operational safety requirements. Liaises closely with Quality, Safety and Environment• Increasing awareness of Client safety regulations and standards and implement them accordingly within the site.• Assists management with developing and maintaining the budget for safety and training.• Conducting various safety related training classes in such areas as confined space entry, work at height, fall protection, noise hazard, chemical handling, Waste management and various other relevant safety topics.• Performing monthly audit and proffer recommendations on corrective actions• Creating healthy safety culture; assists and promotes team building among all employees through workshops, supervisor guidance and continual communication among all employees.• Investigating causes of near misses or injuries to develop solutions to minimise or prevent recurrence. Liaises with Quality Department to ensure the organisation is aware of incidents and appropriate corrective action is implemented.• Monitoring of safety procedures, determine cause of unsafe condition through procedure review, equipment and facilities inspection and worker observation with corrective action recommendations provided.• Review and oversee procedures for investigating construction accidents• Ensure the works are carried out in a safe manner• Ensure that site is maintained in a clean and tidy state• Review the contractor’s safety plan and monitor compliance with the schedule• Reporting incidents & associated hazards to the project consultant.• Arrange weekly safety meeting with subcontractors.• Coordinate monthly safety meeting with consultant and clients.

 -Responsible for the overall HSE activities and administration of all HSE related policies on site. -Reviewing the implementation of HSE procedures on site and report to the Project HSE Manager. -Following L.E.E.D (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Standards and making sure that waste management is done properly. -Conduct safety induction to the new entrants as required. -Make sure that always Site Emergency access and exits are not blocked and Emergency evacuation routes, Site and local emergency contact numbers available in all areas. -Maintain the HSE related documents, compile and submit the reports. -Make sure that the Toolbox is given for the special works like Tower Crane Erection, Placing Boom Erection, lifting table form works using Transport fork, Concreting works, Confined space entry, Tower scaffold erection or dismantle, Form work Assembly, Erection, Dismantle and Safe Stacking. -Do Monthly Inspection of Fire Fighting Equipment, Power Tools, Equipment and Machineries, Lifting Gears, Ladders and Safety Harness and maintain monthly records of all inspections. -Daily inspection of Scaffolding, Excavations, lifting works, Form works, Chemical and oil storage areas, civil stores. -Sub-contractors Document Review & Site audit. -Obtaining night work permit from client, issuing special work permit for form work (DOKA) and constant monitoring while erection, assembly, de-shuttering and safe stacking of form work material, participating in internal and external audits. -Organizing safety awards function, Issuing warning letters, close out for F.I.R, Preparing SCAR (Safety corrective action report) by applying penalties to those who violate the rules and procedures and giving it to the concerned parties. -Organizing and taking active part in Campaigns like Fire Safety in Construction Field, Hazard Identification, Near Miss Reporting, Welfare Campaign, Stress Management Campaign

 -Select the required courses and provide the trainings about the worksites inspection, review of examples of incidents and accidents. -Trainer - ( Working at Height, Confined Space, Manual handling, Scaffolding, Lifting and Rigging, PPE, Waste Management, Cable Management) -Push and try to increase the HSE Awareness through trainings and personal discussion. -Provide the necessary induction and courses for expats by English language. -Maintain updated records for training done. -Make the people understand about the behavioral issue and maintain safety culture in worksite.

 -Assisting research projects by conducting literature reviews and providing technical solutions for research problems. -Developing proper plans and implementing it to comply with the project deadlines. -Working with the team of researchers with the different task assigned to each member. -Supervising undergraduate students working on the research projects. -Invigilating and Examining answer papers of undergraduate students

 -Assuring Zero Accident/No dangerous occurrence by effective surveillance and implementing safe practices and conditions. -Conducting Fire safety Inspections, Safety audit and various training/ induction programs. -Conducting daily tool box talks before commencing the daily activity and conducting monthly safety committee meetings. -Inspection of Confined Spaces and Man holes before undertaking the job. -Taking work permits prior to commencement of work and ensuring the implementation of safety procedures according to the client policies. -Ensure that good housekeeping standard is maintained throughout the site. -Advising the site personnel concerning the safe working practices and potential dangerous occurrences and ensuring safety on scaffolding jobs
