Two visits made- 1st visit for daily activities and 2nd visit for month end activities. Co-ordinated with BU to prepare project sops for smooth and efficient process stabilization. Trained the team by streamlining the process. Developed and implemented transition project plans. Maintained ongoing communications with suppliers, credit controllers and captains from ocean transport team. REPORTING ACTIVITIES:• Publishing month end reports for Ocean Transportation on Powered BI which will be viewed by Cargill worldwide.• Overall ageing report provided with comments to BU with necessary action taken from team• Weekly WIP Report to determine receivables going for provision by month end, work on those.• Forecast focus list for all desks - Panamax, Supramax, Handies, Handymax & tankers. Discuss with management, take required action for timely recovery. • Preparation of Bad Debt Report & provide comments on PNL movement • Discrepancy report sent to whole team to correct any provisions to be removed or to be revised.• Bad analysis report shared with BU , which gives clear picture on each desks .• Correcting wrong balance in AR ageing and updating RTR to book Accruals if required during month ends.

CASH APPLICATIONS , BILLING & COLLECTIONS:• Download and upload bank statements to GTPS .• Responsible to check all the receipts have been applied without missing TAT• Investigate misapplied payments to correct and ensure proper allocation• Handle a broad scope of internal processes encompassing the daily management of collection and month-end-closings with a focus on accounts receivable functions• Follow up, collection and allocation of payments• Initiate offset request with payable invoice to customer• Advising PRTP team to hold Payments if any credit invoice due for payment• Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payment and other irregularities• To develop and maintain harmonious and effective working relationships with all customers, Departmental Colleagues, Vessel Operators, Admin Operators, Marine Operations Coordinator, & other specialists in the common goal of ensuring timely payment of invoices and resolution of customer queries• Preparation & review of overdue reports, aging, cash collection report.• Manual invoice creation as requested by Traders, DA-desk invoice (Intercompany invoice)
