I am requiured to carry out the following duties on a regular basis. • Conduct customer progress reviews & meetings• Applies policies relating to sanctions for absences • Manage Caseload• Cover for other staff members when required• Carry out tailored jobsearch with individuals• Maintain accurate records for DWP & Avanta• Work to Targets• Carry out weekly & monthly Health & Safety checks on the Office• Identifying suitable interventions partners for cliets to access • Devising action plans ensuring targets set are SMART targets,

Main duties and responsibilities: My duties within the role of Placement Monitoring Officer (Funded by Connexions) varied from day to day but the main aspects included working with young people (16 - 19) who were at a risk of becoming NEET, providing them with work placements through vocational and employment focused training and support tailored to meet their individual needs. The day to day tasks included:• Sourcing Work Placements. • Carry out jobsearch activities with each individual.• Promote Equality and Diversity.• Managment of trainees absences/holidays.• Monitoring clients whilst on work placements.• Providing One - One support. • Sourcing Vocational Qualifications.• Drawing up Individual Training Plans and Implementing them.• Liasing with Learners and outside agencies to ensure client progression e.g Jobcentre plus, Local authority.• Carrying out Health and Safety Vettings prior to learners starting placement
