I began my journey at Amazon as a Quality Services Associate, focusing on testing various Middleware technologies such as Whisper-sync, OTA - backup and restore, and Remote system maintenance on Amazon Fire tablets. Additionally, worked on Content Delivery Engine on Amazon E-ink and Amazon Fire tablet devices. During this time, I also actively worked on Selenium automation projects, honing my skills in test automation and further contributing to the quality and efficiency of our processes.Continuing my professional growth, I up-skilled and got promoted to the role of an Application Engineer. In this capacity, i have developed and provided support for a range of internal applications. These applications were primarily built using the Python Django framework and the backend was powered by MySQLMy responsibilities encompassed the entire lifecycle of these applications, from idea and design through to implementation, testing, and deployment. This role allowed me to apply my expertise in Python and Django to create efficient, user-friendly, and responsive web applications that met the specific needs of our organization.As an Application Engineer, I found great satisfaction in delivering solutions that streamlined internal processes, enhanced productivity, and contributed positively to the overall efficiency of the company. My experience in this role further solidified my skills in software development, database management and project lifecycle management.In addition to my role as an Application Engineer, I actively contributed to Audible's tool called SEF (Support Engineers Framework) NAWS environment migration. During this migration, I successfully migrated the Audible membership cancellation feature, demonstrating my capability in handling complex tasks and ensuring seamless transitions.Throughout this migration initiative, I had the invaluable opportunity to work extensively with a diverse array of Amazon and AWS tools. These hands-on experiences encompassed various facets of software development and cloud computing. This includes Code Packages, CI/CD Pipelines, Git and Version Control,AWS Services - I gained practical exposure to numerous AWS services such as Amazon SES, Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, VPC, RDS relational databases, EC2, CloudFormation, Secrets Manager, S3 for object storage, CloudWatch, IAM.These experiences served to strengthen my position as a skilled professional capable of handling intricate projects that spanned both application development and cloud-based infrastructure management.
