Work Scope: 42” Alloy Steel Cross Country Pipeline The pipeline construction scope of work covers the construction, installation, testing, pre commissioning and commissioning Assistance of• 42” Alloy steel Export pipeline with total lenght 334 kilometers.• 42” Alloy steel Collection header pipeline with total length 194 kilometersDuties• Carry out inspections in line with specifications, Method statement and ITP.• Prepare all relevant reports for covering relevant inspection activities.• Carry on all material inspection, ensure tests are carried out as per approved ITP’s.• Identify and report non-conformance to specified requirement, monitor and verify agreed corrective actions and close outs

• In every Project, supervised a staff of 1 or 2 QA / QC Engineers, 3 QC Inspectors, 2 Laboratory Technicians & 1 QC Assistant.• Ensured the availability of controlled copies of Client issued Contract Documents, Project Drawings and Company Quality Management System documents on Site.• Oversaw the process of communicating all QA / QC requirements to project personnel for implementation prior to the commencement of activities.• Coordinated with QA / QC Manager in preparing project specific QA / QC documents, comprising Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Control Procedures based on Contract specification.• Closely monitored the Project Execution Programme identifying new activities planned, reviewing the requirements of documentation and QA / QC testing requirements and ensuring the availability of testing devices/equipment prior to commencement. • Liaised with the QA / QC Manager and Document Controller (HO based) to prepare and establish the project filing system in line with the Corporate Quality Management Procedures and Client’s requirements.• Monitored and reviewed the effectiveness of the Quality Systems implementation with the Project Manager to identify and implement improvement to construction.• Assisted the Project Manager and other discipline Engineers to implement the project QA / QC requirements specified in the Contract documents / Company approved Project Quality Plan.•Identified, prepared, submitted and monitored the deviation, Concession Authorization Request, Technical Queries and Confirmation of Verbal Instructions with the Project Managers and Engineers.• Monitored stores operations, construction and inspection processes, communicating to the Project Manager when deviations identified.•Ensured the implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) identified for non-conformances (NCR) noted during inspections and audits.• Prepared and handed over the project completions / handover dossiers to client.
