CurrentAs a procurement engineerMaterials Working for a main contractor, my primary responsibility is to manage the procurement process of materials and equipment needed for construction projects. This includes developing purchasing plans, selecting and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, tracking material deliveries, ensuring quality control, controlling costs, and providing regular reporting.Regarding following up on RFQs and sending them to contractors and suppliers, my responsibilities include reviewing and auditing the price comparison table, searching for new suitable suppliers, studying market resources, preparing technical packages, coordinating with the technical department, and executing technical work. Comparisons and negotiations with suppliers and contractors, cost analysis, updating follow-up files, central control, monitoring suppliers and contractors, resolving financial claims and disputes, ensuring payment regularity, and adherence to local and international procedures and policies.In specific termsDirect responsibilities and tasksI am responsible for preparing and following up on ETFE system packages for Victor Voltic, steelwork packages for AIC and Obeikan PTFE cover works. Also responsible for following up on supply list for ETFE items, updating statement, tracking delays in supplies and approvals from contractor for materials. In addition, responsible for following up on dinosaur packaging, floating ball packaging and wall gypsum works, in addition to submitting remaining and unapproved vector elements to the Engineering House for approval and following up on change orders with the commercial department for new products and updated elements.
