Responsible for planning and implementing quality control measures on-site. Working Knowledge of the SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA, and ASME standards. Maintain quality records such as a work logbook, QA/QC weekly report, internal inspection report, Non-Conformance report (NCR). If there are repeated violations of standards on site, even after proactive notification, I issue NCRsto the Construction and subcontractor. Verify that all necessary inspections and tests, as required by the project and statutory regulations, arecarried out and ensure that appropriate records are updated and maintained. Verify that the equipment, and materials used in the project meet the required specifications andadhere to project specifications/standard procedures. Follow up with the consultant for approval of shop drawings and material submittals. Coordinate quality activities with subcontractors and any other parties working on the site. Ensure that all snags/punch-points are resolved and closed within the agreed-upon time frame withthe client. Monitor all installations and inspections of mechanical work using Quality Inspection and Test Plans(ITPs) and Checklists. Attend weekly and monthly meetings with the consultant to implement better quality practices on site. Monitor the quality control of construction progress activities. Raise Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Inspection Witness (WIR), and MaterialInspection Requests (MIR) for work and material inspections. Ensure that all equipment, tools, and materials meet the project's quality requirements. Conduct surveillance to verify that the storage and handling of materials are in accordance withproject requirements.Carrying out the Disposition process of Non-Conformance Reports and ensuring corrective &preventive actions are taken. Involved in various Testing & Commissioning activities, coordinated with suppliers for startup, Testing & Commissioning. closing and handing over the project.
