• Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing,collections, payroll, and budget preparation.• Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.• Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budgetpreparation.• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annualbudgets.• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported resultscomply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinateswith outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectivesand policies.• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions,and contract negotiations.• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

- Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed - Perform cash management (AP & AR and cash cycle )- Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.- Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.- Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.- Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
