In case of any discrepancies or missing items, I prepare a detailed Query sheet, addressing all issues and errors for further clarification and resolution. I am also responsible for extracting quantities from the Drawings and preparing a thorough and accurate Bill of Quantities. To acquire competitive and suitable quotations, I generate inquiries based on project specifications and send them to subcontractors or suppliers. Subsequently, I compare the received prices from different suppliers to make informed decisions that align with project requirements and budget. Another important aspect of my role involves preparing a Rate Breakdown and coordinating with the senior estimator for Rate Analysis, which is crucial in determining the overall cost estimates for the project. By diligently executing these responsibilities, I contribute to the successful implementation of ELV systems in buildings, ensuring optimal control, security, and efficiency in the overall MEP projects.
