Being able to work for aquaculture and fish processing technological advancements resonates with my motivations which I came to realize while working on multiple central and state government projects that had a direct impact on my community at large. This gave me a new perspective to my future career plans and for this reason, I would love to have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Aquaculture and Food Processing industry.Working in the Aquaculture & Food Processing industry has been my passion. Last of which was working on a project under the Fisheries Department of India that focused on the various types of marine algal culture for feeding the zooplanktons such as rotifers later fed by fish fry and breeding and rearing of various types marine and freshwater fishes like Trachinotus carolinus, Lates calcarifer, and Chanos chanos and shrimps like Penaeus monodon, Penaeus indicus and Litopenaeus vannamei. Furthermore,as part of the project, I played a considerable role in the development of the hatcheries. And under the Fish Processing unit I have various responsibilities like product inspection and approval, record keeping,carry out the external auditing, maintaining the food watch, conduct staff training, ensure that good manufacturing practices are to be done and proper maintenances of prerequisite programs.Overall, my areas of expertise spread out to quality controller of fish processing unit in UAE, hatchery development, brood stock management, breeding and rearing technologies of Indian major carps (Catla catla, Labeo rohita and Cirrhinus mrigala) and some exotic carps also. and special involvements in the breeding of both marine and freshwater ornamental fishes like clown fish , koi carp, gold fish and live bearers etc. The importance of the work that is done in this institution is unparalleled and I would consider it to be my highest honour to be able to contribute to this purpose. To be honest, academic research work is something very new to me but nevertheless something that I believe can be navigated successfully with the dedication and commitment that I have shown throughout my career. I sincerely believe that I can continue to grow enormously and better myself personally, intellectually, and professionally. Aquaculture and Fish Processing technology has been my passion and I also earnestly hope that my research activities can contribute to our Company as well as millions of other people who would gain from my honest and dedicated work.
